Nice x540 and blower! I just picked up a nice used GX335 from Ontrac for my MIL. They were great to deal with, as they are not my usual dealer as I'm a couple hours away. Enjoy!

Thats the question I had. What is that bar sticking out of the left hand side of engine compartment, just above the orange traction assist foot switch ?

I may have to take a trip to the shed and see if mine has that cutout in the plastic for the bar.

Is it an extra mechanism for the snowblower ??

Joey and kenners, the gold bar is what the chute controls bolts to, at least that what its for on my 345.

Anybody know if my 48" blade and 42" snowthrower for my 345 fits an X540?
