Jon, Thanks for the great site. It is very well done and informative.:congrats: I am actually in the middle of removing a lot of 12" and smaller poplar trees as well as a ton of brush. I'm doing this with my 2320, so your videos are great examples. Anytime a CUT newbie like me can see a demostration it is appreciated.:thanku:

i don't mean to be rude but that was poor felling technique,an angled back cut gives a false sense of security.Theres a reason it isn't taught in felling classes it is outdated.Second it is vital to make your cuts square and you are suppose to leave 10 percent of the trees diameter as a holding strap or hinge to guide it over.Why didn't you leave the stump as the tree was going over?You should leave either stage left or right as the tree is falling.
