new to this site but a vintage ski doo restorer

Hi my name is Mark and enjoy older Ski-Doo snowmobile restorations. Started looking for a motor for a David Bradley Snow Scooter and a picture of one of the scooters lead me to this site. I am in pursuit of a orange Jacobson 2.25 HP 2 stroke upright motor that was used in the snow scooter which were sold by Sears in 1958.....hope to hear from some of you soon....thanks, Mark

I'm a bit of an old 2-cycle Jake fan myself but never knew they were used in snow scooters. :cool:

Yeah I remember as a kid my parents had an upright Jacobson lawn mower but the one I'm looking for is an older laydown style with the plug in the front of the motor facing forward. Keep your eyes open....lol

my parents mower was an upright model with a side shaft and belt pulley system, reel type mower...
