Hi all! Although I wasn't looking for a CUT, last week a smoking deal presented itself to me that I couldn't pass up.

All this for $1500! Tractor only has 980 hours on it, with good rubber all the way around. It had two problems, which we have already resolved. First, the fuel system was full of water due to being kept outside with a bad fuel cap. After draining it, some fresh fuel, and about 1/2 can of ether, she was purring like a kitten. Second, it had a blown freeze plug, which we have replaced as well.

One question: Can anyone identify that tiller?? I've looked all over it and cannot locate any kind of ID or name tag. The stickers have weathered off.

Nice rig,,, :thThumbsU

Possibly a "Long" tiller??

Thanks!

Well, the color looks the same, and the Long is direct gearbox driven rather than jackshaft/chain driven like 95% of the other ones out there. I'll have to look into that more. I just picked this up last week and then left the country for work this past weekend, so I didn't really had a lot of time to look it over good. I had my son look it over but he said he couldn't find any identifying info on it. I'll have to look at it closer when I'm home in October. I'm pretty sure it is out of Japan, as the ones from there that I've seen online have those types of tines on them.
