Tractor runs awesome and cuts grass pretty good too. Previous owner kept it very clean and even was covered (JD tractor cover) in his shed when I picked it up. Tractor and deck manual and the tractor cover came with the purchase as well. I'm happy with it.

I'm wating for my seat cushion to arrive in hopefully a couple of days.

Thanks for all the kind comments. Great tractor.

I want to change the rear end fluid. Does it take 90w gear lube? Or do I need somethng else? thx.

JD GL5, 85-140 gear lubricant is what I'm using. slkpk

Is 80 90w too thin? I have a gallon laying around in the garage and I'd like to use it. Thx.
If 80-90w survives in car rear axles I can't imagine it would fail in your tractor, or mine. I use it in my 214. That is a real nice 110. I hope to find one some day to resto/repair for my daughter. She loves the older Deeres.
