Ok, so I am sure I am not the first fanatic to name his tractor Ingy...
Thanks to some great advice from Shenninger, creator of the Acticulating 4wd tractor, I just returned from a 942 mile trip with the new addition to the family; a 1984 Ingersoll 448 #14062821. She came with a barely used snowcaster and high mileage mower deck as well.
(I will be selling my 1983 Case 446 soon, PM me if interested. It is the tractor pictured in my profile).
So Ingy already has the Linimar LX 770 engine upgrade, and only 1054 hours on the clock. She runs, shifts and lifts pretty solid. No leaks, major damage, frame repairs or cracks in the trans axle.
So I am looking for decals, headlight assemblies, a 3 point hitch and hydraulic pto for the rear, and AG (lug) tires, in case anyone has them lying around and just didn't put them on eBay yet :hide:
By the way, I got to see the Arctic 4wd up close and live... the pictures and videos do it no justice. These guys did some job on it. If I would have stayed there another minute, Scott and Brian would have had Ingy offloaded and I would have never gotten out of there. They are great guys, if you are ever in Central PA, look them up and stop by!
Thanks guys, this forum is great!
