We just bought a decent 125(so we thought) and after changing out the oil, almost pure STP and putting in HD 30w oil the blow by out of the breather is very heavy. I pulled the head off the K301a to see how bad the bore was and the top of the piston has .030 stamped in it and the bore is scratched/scuffed.
In the short term we are doing the hone with new piston/rings and a new .020 rod thing but I have to ask will the Onan 140 fit in the narrow frame? And if not I have a much newer(late 80’s) K301 from a Simplicity Sovereign fit?
