Here are some pics of the new shoes I made for my tractor. Used them right after install. Best mod there is for blowing on gravel. Here are a couple of pics and a link to the album where they are stored. There are also some pics of my house and the snow removal team.

Say.............. didn't I see these pics over at the Yahoo site already?:biglaugh:
Very nice looking shoes.... I am curious to find out how the stainless steel wears vs. mild steel..... Let us know after some extensive use ....

Very Nice. Great idea having them under the blower housing instead of on the outside.

That sure is a heck of a difference between the two. Nice job on them. slkpk
Not the easiest material to work/weld. VERY nice.

I work in a stainless fab shop. My boss cut theses out for me and had them formed. I just needed a little more floatation on my dirt/gravel driveway.
terry. the problem that i see is how do they work on the concrete?
i like to run mine on the outside so i can have them at the same height as the cutting edge, thus leaving no snow on the concrete.
when i do my drive i keep it up an inch or so, until i get a hard pack built up.

I have the shoes adjusted a little lower than the cutting edge. I do not have much concrete in front of the house. What little I do have I just come back after with the Montgomery Ward tractor with a blade on it and scrape things clean that way. I am just sick and tired of throwing all of the gravel from the driveway out into my yard.
