Hello everyone! I picked up a Snapper RER Series 6 mower today and am looking forward to chatting with some of you! I bought my house last year and my wife and I push mowed 1.5 acres with our two mowers and decided this year we would do things differently! I almost bought a new mower, even considered maybe a smaller Ford LT but I settled on the snapper as my mower of choice. This mainly due to the small size as our yard has a lot of trees to maneuver around. Maybe in the future we will upgrade to something even bigger!

Right now she runs good, put a new battery on her and she started right up. Previous owner frequents auctions and was bragging about all the things he got for dirt cheap, I feel this mower was one of them. He said he had done nothing to it other than make sure it started. I can see a few things to do but right now I am going to just enjoy wiping her down real good!

See you all around!

Not sure about the new ones but the older Snapper rer's were tough and dependable machines for sure. We were a dealer for over 15 yrs. back in the day and I owned one of the original 11 h.p. 33" hi-vac models. The original B&S engine finally blew and I put a Honda 11 h.p. on it. When the Honda bit the dust I was fixing to put the 3rd engine on it before someone who wanted it more than me bought it. Good luck with yours.:thThumbsU
