Had this year old mower come in today with a bent crank. Took the belt cover off and found a PILE of wet grass underneath. About half a 5 gal. bucket. Something to be aware of if u own one of these newer snappers. Might pay to silicone these?? Gonna try it on this one, but won't know for a year how it works. Unless they try to mow another big rock.:fing20:

I'd say just about all mowers will do that(maybe not that bad) when you cut wet grass.Still don't know why some folks do that.

The problem is that you have to take off 2 covers to get to the area. Its not that he is mowing wet, its dry when it gets up there, but when he is washing it that the grass gets wet. The covers underneath dont keep all the grass out they should. There was prob. 20 pounds in there, and no way for the customer to get it out without removing covers. Not to mention its going to start rusting a LOT quicker.
Just wanted to give anyone that may have one of these a heads up.:thThumbsU
