I just acquired an '89 (according to the 12hp briggs non twin) simplicity regent w/ a 36" cut and hydro..got it free from a co-worker who's husband owns a small engine repair shop it was just taking up space in their garage

needs a tune up ( at least thats what it needs for now..has a lack of power - they said the engine is getting tired..haven't really looked at it yet) but it cuts beautifully. this is my first sim and probably not gonna be the last

My buddy has "hot-rodded" a '68 yeoman and a '72 broadmoor (both did about 50-60mph - the broadmoor had a 16hp twin briggs transplanted to the back with a dune-buggy style mufller - two pipes into one glass-pack) - this is what started my love of simplicitys

my main reason for posting on here is to see what the chances are of my finding the 36" snow thrower attachment it supposedly can take ( i saw under the hood the belt size for the snow thrower and that got the wheels turning)

I saw this on ebay and was wondering if it would fit/work:

I have looked for the model/serial numbers but the last digit on the serial was torn away - is it still possible to look for parts via the rest of the numbers?
