Congratulations. They're a good old tractor as long as you know what you're getting into. I had a 2N for many years, and grew up on a farm with several Ns (along with some Allis equipment).

So happy to find this forum. Yesterday I picked up a 8N Ford Tractor in good running order. However I know nothing about it and look forward to learning. Thanks for the add.
