Hi,
I would keep your current block and consider having it sleeved.
In my region it costs around $100 to have a Kohler sleeved. They bore the cylinder oversized and press a steel liner(sleeve) into the block. This will take the bore back to a standard size if desired.
I have a block that has the same damage that I'm keeping that will require sleeving.
Good luck.
