I introduced myself on the ebay page yesterday but just wanted to say hello to anyone I missed. Thanks for the hours of enjoyment I have been getting the last couple of weeks.. the old lawnboys remind me of being a kid... they are a breath of fresh air when compared to mowers being built now. Anyhow looking to start my collection so any old lawnboys for sale let me know. Really like the commercials and brick tops. Here'smy first question, I need a mower for my home (which is how my latest obsession got started) I have an acre to mow and like to mulch. (live oak leaves) What do you guys recommend? I am bidding on a couple of mowers right now a surburban and a commercial on ebay. Will hopefully get those to start with.. I guess thats enough ramblin Thanks again

You're headed in the right direction. You may want a self propelled model for that large of a lot. 10515's are common and very easy to use / mow with... 4.5 hp with 3 speed transmission. I'd recommend one of those, or a pre-compliance self propelled capstan lawn-boy. I like those too but it's all personal preference.
