Hello, my name is Dustin and I'm from SE Iowa. I found a free John Deere 14SB on the sidewalk today and was looking into fixing it up as a hobby. I'm hoping to ask a few questions about how to do so and if it's worth it with this mower.

Those have the kawasaki engine right? I have tge 14pz with the briggs. The aluminum deck on mine is trash but this thing will not die.

Yeah I believe its a kawasaki engine. It runs, but the blade fell off so I've got that to deal with. The deck on mine looks to be in pretty good condition though.
