New in Virginia

Hello to all from VA. I have a B2400 HSD tractor that I have had since it was new. It has set for about a year and I was going to try to get it running. It only has about 450 hrs. on it. I used it in my business so it never got used much. For the last 10 years the solenoid switch hasn't worked properly so it got started with a screw driver across the posts on the starter. I decided to fix it and it has turned into a nightmare. I wasn't able to find a new ignition switch so I decided to put a universal one on it with another push button switch for the glow plugs. Now the problem... I need a wiring diagram for the ignition switch. I checked every wire (and marked them) before I took the old one out but I can't seem to be able to make the new one work and can't seem to find a diagram. If anyone can please help me I would greatly appreciate it.
