Greetings,

I've been trying to get my Case 220 back together, I've ran these for the better part of 30+ years, this was the first one I had to pull the engine for rebuild.... the bad part, it was several years between pulling the engine, and finding a machinist in Maryland that could do the job....

Anyway, on to the reassembly, first posts will be requesting if anyone has a pic of the top tins, to see washers/spaces/tins arrangement for an 80's 220....

Thanks for the warm welcome all. I'll be mostly lurking, and updating the sig with what I've got.

My current iron inventory...

80's Case 220 - Haven't nailed down exact age yet - under reconstruction
1963 Ariens Sno Thro - Original engine, 3rd generation same family using it (although not yet this year)
HM100 driving a 5kw gen, no idea of year, but it's old too....
1960s (I think) Little Giant log splitter, arrived with dead spool valve and no functional governor. Previous owner ran it flat out to split... After minor adjustments, now idles 99% of the time and only runs up with load. My current slow-speed champ engine as it can idle so slow that you can count revolutions.

If I was to choose a current tag, I think it would be
"never trust a carb that you can't adjust the mix"

If I had more time/money I'd be building a puller just to see my little girl on the track.
