40 yrs old backyard mechanic type work at a juvenile treatment center where we have criminals ages 15 to 22 mostly from Philly

wife and I moved to our house in the country in 2004--big change for both of us because we both grew up very poor--i grew up living in a row home in a neighborhood with low income brick type townhouses, she grew up in a trailer court

so we are now living the good life in a small riased ranch/ bi level home whatever you call them and we are on 1 acre of land and we have cornfielkds behind us 1 neighbor about 100yds to the left of us another neighbor about 200yds to the right of us and in front of our house is wooded hills. another neighbor lets me cut firewood from her 8acres

my 1st lawn tractor that I'm still using is a craftsman LT 2000 with 22 hp briggs and 42 inch deck I only need to cut about 1/3rd of an acre once a week and another 1/4 of an acre about every 3 weeks because that is the lower part of our yard and it doesn't get much sunlite

I also have an old sears 8 with a snowblower--need to rebuild the carb because it leaks gas--fun loud little machine that clears the gravel driveway pretty good

I'm also into cars 89 turbo trans am with buick 3.8 turbo engine

Honda xr650r

2002 chevy avalanche

and I have a nice gun collection and reload my own ammo

recently started buying a bunch of chainsaws and looking for a woodsplitter

thanks

:Welcome1: Joe ... Glad you found us ... I will be up in your area tomorrow and Thursday .. taking the wife and kids to http://www.knoebels.com/ If you have NOT been there and want to visit a GREAT park .. make sure you find time to go .. we go 3 -4 times a year
I used to haul coal into the center occasionally when I lived in PA,I knew a girl that lived up in Mifflinville that used to work there also.:MTF_wel2:
people so close to knoebles take it for granted we can't understand why people would travel to go there

for us local people it just doesn't do much for us--but I guess if you have been going to the same place for 30+ yrs it gets a little boring

we only take our kids there maybe twice a yr kids are 9 and 12 1 boy 1 girl forgot to mention that in my intro

I had the XR 400 I sold a few years back when I got the Rincon, very nice dirt bikes.

I can understand your point ... it gets old

But for me .. never .. its a great get a way .. doesn't cost a fortune .. and its clean and well kept

There are plenty of parks much closer to me .. but they cost 2 -3 times as much .. and are full of riff-raf from the inter city's of Philly, Camden NJ and Trenton NJ

I will make the 3-4 hours trip any day to go to Knoebels , rather then those closer

My brother goes to Bucknell in Lewisberg and sometimes when my family visits him we stay in Danville at the Hampton Inn.

Nice town! See you around the forum I'm sure.
Sorry to butt in, but could someone help me on how to post a new question. Thanks
