Hmmm. check the front axle, front wheel spindles, and steering linkage/operation for any damage or bends. I had similar problems on my LT1000, and it turned out to be the crappy stamped steel axle welds giving out.
Your machine is built like a tank though, with a cast iron front axle (i believe)? So just give a good look around.
