Hello All,
I live in Alabama. I am a retired university administrator whose only mechanical experience was to change plugs and points in my dad's 1951 dodge 60 years ago. So I bought a 1947 rusted-out, brakeless Farmall A to learn on. It had been sitting outside for 10 years. After 200 hours of trial, error and scraping gummy gears, it runs well, Lots of body work, sandblasting and sheet metal replacement underway. Total rewire and all new rubber is next. Months of part-time work to go, but getting there is the best part.
Shortly, I will ask for help in several areas I do not understand.
