New Bolens owner from S.E. Michigan with PICS

I just picked up a very nice 1969 Bolens 1220 with a rebuilt 42" mower deck still shrink wraped , heavy duty flat top 36" tiller, 36" Snowblower, 42"front blade, wheel weights and chains.
I live in S.E. Michigan in a residential neighbor hood and really don't know how I'm gonna use this machine but I have a love for all things mechanical.

Heres some crappy cell phone pic's:

Welcome to the forum and that tractor appears to be in really nice shape.
Welcome to the forum, braxx. I'm relatively new here, as well. MTF is, by far, the best forum I have found. :Welcome1:

That looks like a great tractor and set of attachments. It reminds me a lot of my 1253 (1970) with exactly the same attachments you have. It looks like the PO took very good care of it, considering it's going to be 43 years old in about 2 hours. LOL

As far as what you'll be able to do with it all; as long as you have a yard and a driveway, you're going to find it all very useful.

BTW: For cellphone pics, they look pretty good to me.

Happy New Year and good luck with your newly adopted Bolens!

That is a very nice find and a nice buy with so many attachments to go along with the tractor.
That has got to be a rare find with all the extras.
I noticed you said (I'm a technical author and I write factory repair/service manuals for a living.)
Could that mean you may be able to help members with locating manuals?

Welcome and congratulations! That's a beautiful machine. If you don't know what to do with it at home, you can always make a few extra bucks on the weekend with it!

I work for an OEM automotive manufacturer (One of the original BIG 3). I write removal & installation and dissassembly & assembly of seats.

No connection with the manual you would use for tractors. As a matter of fact the stuff I write for is 2013 model year and we don't print the publication. It's all electronic.

Sorry I can't be of any help in that way.

Ya, I'm sure I will be blowing/plowing snow for the whole block and tilling gardens at my house, parents house and inlaws house.
I'm sure I'll find uses.
