After talking to my friend it seems that he does not have a strong enough spark to start. ( We thought it was a carb problem earlier ). Does anybody know the OHM readings for the coil ? Homelite 10618-A chainsaw. Serial #1G1140642

Cant help with the resistance test but something to try-

First- Is it a new plug? If not- replace..

Second- Check the flywheel to coil clearance.. The closer it is the better the spark..

Has a very weak spark. Plug new and he told me the flywheel was clean and the clearance correct. He has another saw that is the same and running at his cabin. When he goes there he will swap mags and see if it will run.
