I have a JD 125 lawn tractor and recently, with the steering wheel centered, the tractor tends to pull to the left. I went to my local lawn mower shop today to get some misc stuff and the guy behind the counter said it was the drag links (13 & 27 in the pic below) but they both "seem" okay. I don't want to just start switchng out parts. Any ideas on what the problem is?. Thanks in advance for the help. :trink39:

Not familiar with your tractor, but from your description any wear in the joints or any distortion in the rods would be a possible source of the problem. From the diagram there is no adjustment for alignment (threaded end to adjust length of either rod).

Examine the ball joints...tight? sloppy? ...and anything look bent?

Maybe more likely...20 and 21 got out of whack by a tooth or two. Maybe wear at some point caused that. Do you notice a tighter turning circle at full left vs full right? Check for a full set of teeth on both.
