I'm trying to get the brake disk, item #86 in diagram off the shaft, item #46. Looks like a press fit with a key. Anyone have any experience with this. I've already removed the brake pad holder mechanism.

Hmmmmmmm have you tried something like a gear puller? I'll bet the key is not in there straight and it is wedging itself between the shaft and the rotor.

Those rotors are cast iron and break easily,so beware...I'd use a lot of penetrant and maybe something like a ball joint pickle fork to pry it off, trying to put all the pressure as close to the center of the hub as pssible, not the outside edges..if a bearing splitter collar will fit behind it then one of those with a puller would be the best way...a little heat wont hurt either..
