1939 A Farmall, starts on gas, can run on kerosene.
Original carburetor is stamped "48616DB" and "8928A".
Have been to your site, but having trouble ID'ing which rebuild kit I need.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Jim,

The first number is a casting number, probably for the bowl. Your Carb ID number is the 8928A.

The ABC1346 is the only kit we are stocking. We have it listed under "8928" without the A on the end, that is why it wasn't coming up. If you do a search on our site for "8928" you can see all the parts that relate to this series of carb (I think there was an A, B, and possibly a C that all take the same basic parts).

If this kit won't do the trick, let me know and we can check on a special order or we might be able to refer you to another specialist.

Thanks for sending the email, apparently my alerts on this thread aren't working. I still haven't figured out this new forum completely.

Do you guys stock the main jet and emulsion tube (nozzle) for this carb? It also crosses to a Zenith #161X7.

Hello,

Unfortunately we aren't finding these parts from any of our sources. :sorry1: We think you might have to get them from a salvage carb. You might try Roberts Farm Equipment in Ohio or Denny's Carb Shop. They both have a good supply of used and rebuilt carburetors.

Let me know if you need contact info for them. I'm having some technical issues with my machine right now and I can access the Internet, but not my Outlook (which is where I have all of my contacts). Aargh!

:thanku:

Thanks, agian! I've emailed Denny and am waiting for a reply.
Gonna check an old Case/IH dealer and see if they have any NOS parts tucked away.
