Need some 400 information

I'm looking for a project tractor, and a 400 could be a possibility. From what I remember, it seemed to me that the 400 turning radius was not as tight as the 420 or 430's I used a long time ago.
Tractor data lists turning radius for 420/430 at 2.2 feet but no info on the 400.

Does anyone have a manual or spec sheet for a 400 that would be willing to look it up ?

Also I'd like to know if the later (79-82 ? ) 400 had tighter turning than the '75 -78 models ?

Were there any other changes from early to late 400's that you guys can think of besides the stripe and number color on the side of the hood ?

It's been a long time since my experience with these and I'd appreciate your help. Thanks

I looked at my operator's manual and it doesn't address the turning radius or I didn't find it. If I ever find my service manual I will look in it and see if it mentions anything about it. My manual is currently MIA so bear with me. :dunno:
As far as changes and this is only what I know, I am sure there were others:

1. Exhaust is either out the front or the side depending on year. I think the later ones are out the side as mine is a 1982.

2. On the control levers there were two styles, one that was greased with a zerk fitting and one that wasn't.

3. The early ones had a dipstick to check the hydro oil, the later ones have a sight tube.

I am sure there are other minor differences but I am not aware of them or can't remember. I have only had mine two years so I still learn something about it every now and again.
Found my service manual. It doesn't say anything about the turning radius. If you are really concerned about turning radius then I recommend you look at the 425/445/455 series of tractors. They turn really well plus they made an AWS version.
