Need small part for Onan carb fuel pump

I've got a pretty nice 1978 GTV/18, great shape, engine runs (mostly). But I occasionally have trouble that I suspect is the fuel pump. This one has the carb with the fuel pump assembled to the side of the carb. It is missing one minor internal part. It is part number 26 shown below, the plastic piece that the spring attaches to in order to keep the spring from punching through the diaphram. I am hoping that someone might have that part. It is included in the rebuild kit for that carburetor, but I only need that one minor part. A used one would be perfectly fine.

Is there anyone here who might sell me just that one part? It is 142-5520.

This kit comes with it onan DD kit

as does this one Onan dd kit2

both pricey,but complete except floats

Thanks, GT. I know that part is in the rebuild kit. I was hoping, probably too long of a shot, that someone who has rebuilt their carb might have that part they removed and could sell just it. I'm looking for a needle in a haystack. I probably could fabricate something. Not going to spend $80 just to get that one little part.

well, sometimes the parts pop up separately on ebay- I got a diaphragm and gasket separately for like 5 bucks a while back- This site has a lot but I didn't see the piece-http://onanparts.com/

you could try emailing PMing Boomer too - He has used Onan parts
