Could one or two of you guys with a 900 and the S-8D Wisconsin motor take a pic or two of their governor set-up so I can compare yours to what I have on my motor.

Like to see how all the parts line-up and what holes your using and also what size the springs and adjusting screw/rods are.

I may be working with mis-matched parts or wrong items. Thanks

Still could use some help on this governor set-up.

I did the agjustment to the governor lever as per the manual. That is I loosened the lever bolt, turned the governor rod counter-clockwise and then tightened the lever nut/bolt.

Next I moved the throttle cable lever attached to the steering column all the way down to the slow side.

Then with the throttle lever on the carb set in the idle position, the lever touching the idles sctrew, I attached one side of spring to the 2nd hole of the governor lever and the other end to the adjusting rod setting it so there was just a slight bit play to the spring.

Is this correct so far?

By the way I have the 5" threaded rod and the 47 loop count spring.
