What happened? What'd you do?
Need home stereo help! JVC
Ok anyone with home stereo equip experience please help. JVC receiver won't mute the speakers when headphone are plugged in any thoughts?

Seems to me that there is a type of reed switch that is opened when you plug in headphones, or that's how they used to work. Plug in the headphones, and the switch is opened, thus no signal going to the speakers.
