I have been reconditioning my Troy Bilt model 609 Lawn Tractor and I am having difficulty reinstalling the Electric PTO Clutch onto the engine dsrive shaft. It came off easy enough and the key remained in the PTO keyway. It is a 1/4 X 1.25 key. Normally I can see where the key lays in the keyway. But this one I can only see where the Key extends above inner Bore. It almost looks like there is a liner inside the Bore of the PTO. Meanwhile it is under the tractor with very little room and I am getting frustrated at no progress. Any suggestions would be appreciated.:dunno:

walk away for alittle while,, then try again. this helps me out most times

Make sure that the key is level on the shaft spray a little of WD40 or the like, and line up the clutch level to the shaft, it should just slip on.
