Read the book " the fine art and science of selling " ....
or, is it...."How to sell" .
Google this...........
One of the rules , asking price must be reasonable...
There are many other rules...for example.........
"treat others as you would wish to be treated" .

Just depends how badly you want it gone and where you're located.

Try this, its helpful when I'm not sure what something's worth - https://www.google.com/#output=search&q=1998+simplicity+landlord+site:craigslist.org
The "site:craigslist.org" searches all craigslist ads, though it will return a decent amount of expired ads.

I see '98 Landlords posted for $550, $850, $650, $800, and $1200. Most of those are gone.
I'm not familiar enough with the newer machines to know what they're worth, but I'd say you're a little on the high side.
