The headlights on my new XT3GSX are as bright as a candle and are for looks since they can't be used to do work at night.
The LED lights are built in their own socket as one unit so cant just replace the bulb. I need new sockets that will fit the OEM holes and better bulbs. Found these LEDs on Amazon. Does anyone know of a bulb socket i can get that will fit the OEM bulb hole. Thanks,
Here's the bulb I found 1700 lumes. A guy on the Kubota forum put these in his BX and they are 10x brighter than OEM. I need a bulb replacement socket. Help please.

Here's what my OEM LEDs socket and bulb look like. I really don't want to drill holes in my brush guard to mount a light bar so better bulb and socket is what I need.

Thanks Sergeant I may just have to order a set of those sockets and see if they fit. Steve also showed me that older part on Amazon I just wasn't sure if it would fit.

Before I left the house I tried the light socket out of my Husqvarna mower. It looked smaller but it worked so I'm sure the ones off Amazon will fit just fine. Going to order a set of sockets today. I'll let you all know how it turns out.

You might check the depth of the lenses before ordering those LEDs you linked. They look quite a bit longer than 1156s.

Ordered the LUYED 2 X 1700 Lumens Extremely Bright, 2 new MTD 1156 bulb sockets and a water proof toggle switch to isolate the headlight circuit. I'll let you all know how it turns out and post pics for you.

Think theyll fit without hitting the front lens?
Yes Sir they fit good. I took the light socket out of my Husqvarna and tested them. You can see even in the full sun daylight they are a lot brighter. The left is the new LED bulb right is OEM.

The mail lady delivered my switch and light socket so I got it all installed. Works good and they seem about 3 to 5 times brighter than OEM LEDs did. I'll check it later in the dark. Sorry the water proof switch pic turned sideways.
If anyone needs the info of what all I used for parts, light
Socket cub cadet #925-1649 $13
The 2 waterproof toggle switch is from Flee Bay $5, the Luyed 1700 lumens LEDs also from Flee Bay $20
All together about a $40 mod I had all the wiring, flex wiring conduit, connectors in the barn.
If anyone needs some OEM LED lights let me know, I have 2 now with 18 hrs. on them.

I still wasn't able to get some night pictures of the new headlights way to much lightning and rain, 1.98"s.
The Catfish are liking it though they were thirsty.

We don't get snow here very often and when we do it is generally gone by noon the next day. We are supposed to get down to 49 lows and mid 60s for High's next week before it warms back up. Today's high 85 deg here
