Hi
I need a left steering spindle/kingpin and the steering arm for my LGT 165
I have searched Ebay and phoned numerous parts suppliers with no luck
Anybody got any leads
Thanks
Don

I believe there is a cub cadet front axle that fits. You will have to use the whole axle with spindles for it to work. Some one should be along soon with some more advice. What year is your 165? Can you post a picture or 2?

I have it dismantled for rust removal thus no pics yet

It has full sides and hood

I have the serial number 09JC337 1630 Will that give me the year it was built?

Thanks
Don

I'm not yet right up on fords , but with full sided engine compartment, wouldn't it be '77 or newer?

yes, as stated above. With full sides it's definately 77 or newer. If you can get the numbers off the motor, that will identify the exact year of your tractor.

Inquired at New Holland dealer today

No parts available but standard type, front end loader type and hardened kinpins were available at one time

Serial number indicated 1977 and later

Parts man was old aquaitance from another dealer so he was not trying to get rid of me.He more than tried

Purchased used trans today for $51.00 plus frieght

Are there any tractor yards in Ont near Woodstock or Kitchener and area as I can get parts brought west by old friends in the trucking business
