Kawasaki over Briggs!!! Kawasaki is very hard to beat. Properly maintained, it will outlast the other moving parts of the mower.
Narrowing down my choices, 2042LS or a yth1542xp
The choice is between a 2008 with the 15 hp kawasaki engine YTH1542XP
($2300) or a 2009 Briggs Endurance 2042LS ($2000). They are both Husqvarna. I have about 3/4 to an acre of grass, very few trees, and a mild slope in the yard. I do not want to do anything with it except cut grass and maybe get some leaves up in the fall.
If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.
