Hi All, when I got my Suburbans there were a few parts in a box when I know what they were, except for this one soooo does anyone know what this is?

You know after I posted the pictures I was wondering if it might be that, the orange paint threw me off. I was thinking some kind of baffle / blocking plate. I posted before asking about the grill plate and I even made one now I have the real thing:trink39::trink40:

lol, You had it all along! I have a white one, they came blue for 65. Probably the orange ones are harder to find.

Yep that is what it is- not sure what year- if it is for a 65-67 or for a 68-69...

But it is a removable grille piece

OK this AM tried the mystery part on the grill and of course its a perfect fit so now its to get the orange paint off and paint it gray.
But I have another question now2 near the top of the grill there is a factory 5/8" hole on both sides of the grill and also in the grill insert (can be seen in the pictures) this is a 1966 grill what were the holes for?? Some attachment?
