This is supposed to be off an S14D but I am unsure of what the sealed unit on it is for with the wire coming out of it. Can someone please shed some light on it?

thats the stator for making juice.for charging.fred did you get the module figured out.it does,n take much to burn them out.the module that is,don,t short across white wires or there toast.po burned up three of them.did,n see screws were touching behind simple on off switch.:trink39:

I Need to put one on a spare S14D that I am having rebuilt. I know that the three (3) coils make the volts and one is the trip coil but that sealed unit is what I don't know about and I guess that not many here know what it is for either.
