I dont like the angle, i would extend the axel in the front down so it sits level!

the idea is to have the angle so that when you have the hook above the axle, the force of the sled pulls the rear tires down, thus making them dig in more. that angle is perfect

This new forum has got me thinking about making my SS14 into a puller! But in the last pic, is it cheating to let air out of the front tires to get the front end lower! I guess it's only flat on the bottom!!

Itll hold up in some classes its not gonna be a prostock or nothing I dont think. You want the front end Low and the tractor as long as possible for as leverage as possible. These are the same as any large 2wd puller just scaled down. Heres what Id do and its just me Id set the trans up inside of the frame a little bit to lower the center of gravity the stance is about right just a little to high in the rear for me. By lowering the center of ballance you make it a little more prdictable and easier to control aswell. Thanks
