Talk about an amazing piece of equipment. Since I have 10 years on scooters I can compare it to a scoot.

It's a 320cc twin. 6 speed tranny. It has some cool features like dual tripmeters but my Majesty had that. What it also has is average MPG and INSTANT mpg readings. I ride around with it on instant MPG so I can maximize my mileage. It also has a setting where you can see how many miles you've ridden since you changed the oil, assuming you reset it appropriately. It's really neat to cruise at 35 in 6th gear at about 3500 rpm and indicate about 80mpg.

The speedometer seems to be dead on accurate. How's that for a surprise? When I would follow vehicles in a 55mph zone on my scoot, I indicated 60 every time. On this bike, it indicates 55 every time. Oh yea, the speedometer is digital. Big easy to read numbers.

It has a regular spin on oil filter that is really easy to get to and doesn't require removing any plastic. It has no dipstick, just a sight window.

Performance specs:

0-60 5.0 seconds
Top speed: 118mph
MPG: Depending on how you ride it, 55-70.
HP: 42 (Majesty is a 400 and it's 34!!!!)
Weight: 360 WET (remember, Yamaha says the Majesty is like 430 dry, add 4 gallons of gas [at 7lbs per gallon] and a half gallon of oil and other fluids)

Remember, it's only a 300cc bike on steroids. Smaller displacement than the Majesty but 100lbs lighter. I got the blue one. I've done the fender eliminator kit for mine, that rear fender is horrid.

Sweet bike. The little ones are a ton of fun, especially in the city.

Won't be too long now until the 300cc bikes of today are comparable to the 600cc bikes of the past.

How is the riding position?
It's actually VERY upright. In fact in the video reviews on youtube people laugh at how upright the riding position is. It's not aggressive at all.

That might not be such a great idea. My 600 has about the same stroke
and now way would I ask it to pull that.
I would want to be spinning at least 45 % of red line in 6th.
