Picture of my 1990 Ford 8010 as promised when I singned up, sorry only had time to post it now.

Bough it about 2 months ago and this was on the day I bought it. I now discovered that the 7,8th gears are damaged and will need to be fixed and as it has a syncro gearbox it will be cheaper to replace it.

Thanks again guys for your help with getting service manuals for this tractor got a service and workshop manual for it.

I don't know anything about those transmissions... so I won't be any help in your repairs, but... I'd like to know what you find out and how you get it fixed...

Gee, that's going to complicate things somewhat. Unless they imported enough to find one in a breakers establishment, you might come out ahead with just buying the replacements for the failed parts new. The duties & freight won't help in either case! Gearboxes aren't that bad a challenge (save for the expen$e). Best of luck to you!
