I have an OLD Wards 12" chainsaw. The first I ever used BTW, that looks almost EXACTLY like that one. Just a little smaler. Anyone know who made it?

You know, now that you say that it DOES look a little like my superXL. Guess I have to pull the little Wards out, and snap a pic one of these days

l have looked for a name but only found the ser# l just bought it because it was green lol :00000060:

At one time Homlite made chainsaws for JOhn Deere. LAter on JD saws were also made by Sachs Dolmar, and Some Italian company whose name I can't recall at this time. The last line of JD saws are / were made by this Italian company......but the saw in the post is definatley the Homelite made saw.

John Deere owns HOmelite or at least they did, as well as Sabre brand of saw chain......
