Thanks MOD's for taking care of business and thanks TUDOR for the addendum to the title.
We all hope this will all come together completing the build and may we all gain some knowledge and appreciation for the friendships that have developed in the process.
Thanks also to MTF for the great opportunity they've given us to share our thoughts and ideas.

I'm trusting you all that it (part one) didn't go away!:ROF

Now presenting  My Latest Project - Part Two

does that bubbly by chance also have a bite? like carbonated moon shine? cherry bounce when carbonated tastes pretty good,

You could add the "bite" to it. ;)
add more? cherry bounce is around 80 proof around this neck of the woods

I'm moving to WV and it's legal to make your own MS. So I will find a way to incorporate the flavors I want. LOL............ 🤣
Dr says I need to slow down on the shine intake though. Maybe i'll just sell it. 😁
not here yet we do have a few farmers who make a few gallons each year

WHERES DON??? playing with the big volvo toy?

When I was a teenager I was working a lot, I used to pick myself up with a pint of cocacola at 5 to get my overtime energy.
Then one at 3, one at 5. Oh yeah, 1 at lunch...
That's a powerful lot of sugar.
I moved to plain carbonated water, sometimes with a fresh lemon.
Now I drink plain water or unsweetened tea. Lots of it, because I got dehydrated and had kidney stones which was unpleasant.

Don, I somehow thought your ordeal was a lot longer ago.

It's hedge cutting time again. I fixed the machine and cutting has commenced.

Still looking at GPS modules but since I cannot find just the chip and Mouser doesn't have any information about the U-BLOX test package, I started looking at this one. Other than the name and it doesn't include the antenna which I already have and don't need, there's nothing else I'd be missing on the board. They also have their own library for this and Arduino.

Then I found this one.

Circuit component Hardware programmer Electronic component Passive circuit component Electronic engineering

It has two chips, one is the GPS and the other is sort of the clock for timing the other. It connects to some other signals and sends the information directly to the other chips "brain" sort of intravenously, thru a direct bus.
An example.

It's size is deceiving looking at this picture. more like this.

Then it connects to a tablet or laptop/PC etc with USB connections or other means such as this serial cable.
USB is the simplest.

Lots of tech here, real time receiver, can connect to four separate systems at once. GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BDS as an example. The more the merrier and more accuracy at centimeter level. The maker's claim to have run it at 1/8" accuracy.
The board will interface with the chip manufacturers software GUI which is on some screens similar to a radar screen.
Yep, nerdy stuff and poking away on my plans and taking breaks now and then from my learning to use the software programs. I have never liked CAD but I am having to learn it's functions to get the results I'm wanting.
RATS!!!
LOL!!!

yes don this new stuff is mind blowing more so the compact size of it, gps is so tiny it's in every cell phone, i could never be able to understand it,

Don, do you use a stationary base station of some sort to get the surveyor accuracy?
I remember they used to use that system for harbors and things where extra accuracy was required.

I use an older Ublox usb in my laptop but it's not as accurate as you're talking about.
I tried...
seems don is having fun with that machine and his new GPS,

TheU-Blox antennae has much to do with the accuracy, the better "surveyor" grade ones start around $100 bucks and go into $500-$600 range and more.
There are also smaller ones that will give good results. I'm looking at U-Blox products in the $80 - $150 range.
These would allow it to be mounted on the end of the boom with the magnetic base.
I think I just bought two of these from Germany.

Suddenly, my credit card sent me a second notice of a Pay-Pal charge of $80 bucks.
Well if I kept trying to finish setting up my account at the sellers website I'd probably have purchased a third one. So I just closed the browser and will wait a day to see what or if they send conformation for the purchase and then battle it out with PP.
These are used with the new U-blox products.
Mouser will have them in a few weeks, according to their website.

Well I woke up at 5am to see it was 11* outside! It's still only 24* now.
CHUNK MORE LOGS ON THE FIRE SAM!

I'm running out of wood. I've gone through around 3 cord or more since we fired up the stove in Oct I let it go out once to clean the ash out. Other than that it's been burning since late Oct.
My buddy is supposed to be bringing me a cord of silver maple that's split and ready to burn. I'm hoping that will get us through till the end of march.

We had the LP tank for the HVAC filled in Nov and it's at around 30% now. we usually are 1/2 way through our second tank by now. I'll have it filled next week and that will last us the rest of the year and 1/2 of next year (if we don't move to WV)

So $3K for the wood stove. Last year it was $1800 for LP. This year we spent $300 on our first fill up and will be around $600 for this next fill up. So if my math is correct in 3 years the stove will have mostly paid for it's self.

@charles g The people that own the property in WV are moving back to NJ to 5 acres somewhere. I bought a Durango and my 02 sporty in the Tom's river area. I went to OCNJ one time in 84 and never went back. 🤣

@Donewrken How in the world do you even run that thing as big as it is?

The house my dad and I built in Orange County California and I sold to my sister for $140,000 is now worth around $1,250,000. to 1,400,000. and they thought I was gouging them and weaseled out of paying me $5,000. because "we don't have anymore money, so what are we supposed to do about it?"
The last time I ever talked to them - 1987.
