My GT235 has the 18hp Vanguard, will someone confirm that the 18hp Vanguard has a 1x3 5/32 shaft on it?

The Vanguard 350777 has a 1" x 3-5/32" crankshaft.

I did some Internet research and found that max rpm is 3600. Is it set to do 3600 at WOT?

I wouldn't raise the rpm past the factory spec. You risk breaking the governor or snapping the rods.
