He gave me another Suburban! Can you guys tell me what I have? I looked up that it is a 1975 Suburban ST12. It turns over, but starter seems to draw high amps, maybe rust internally. Want to hear it run! Muffler is shot, might stack it like my SS10!

Here is the other haul we got today! We sold a Murray and took THREE in trade! Also sad to sell my GT-18 plow :(

Sold today,will miss it!

I don't have my sheet of numbers on me but I think that's the scarce 1976 model that is built like the 1975 model... It's not worth more or anything just not many around like it...

No unfortunately! I want to hear it run! I think I have to remaove starter, but first will try he WD in spark plug hole first. When plug was out ,we cranked it to let starter work, hoping to knock off rust. I got a DR appointment tonight, wanted to work on it after work! :(

looks great! Those starters are pretty temperamental when they get old. Someone on ebay makes them with a thicker back plate that somehow makes them last longer. You need a good freshly charged battery to really test if the starter is working right. You can always take it apart and lube the bronze bushings inside. You may be able to buy a rebuild kit if it isn't too far gone. Keep the updates coming!

Well tried it after work. I think the connections are all dirty. I wound up going direct to starter lug with jumpbox. It started for 10-20 seconds!! Sounds good,no smoke. A giant spider vacated the hole in muffler!! :)
