just wanted to post some pics of my 51 up.

it has been sitting in my grandmother's barn for the past 15 years without being ran or moved. took a little work and coaxing to get her back to life.

my grandfather also owns an old 8N, front mount dizzy but i don't know the year. he's 92 and drives it almost daily...

and my trusty old David Bradley.

so there's my story, preserved for posterity...

I had a Shaw like your DB with the sickle bar attachment. After a day of cutting weeds my arms still shook for a couple of days. I like the sickle bar mower on my tractor better. The N's and Grandpa look great.

Your grandfather's 8N would be a 1948-(mid-year)1950. Get the serial number... and you can cross reference it on the link in my signature to get the exact year...

Love to see those N's getting that 'loving'...
