Picked up a sears gt 18 tecumseh today, and a sears ltv11 for 100 bucks with a deck and plow for the gt. Anyone who has a gt can you please post me a pic of how the mule drive is set up and how the linkages and levers work for the deck belt . I am going to make my own mule drive and linkages I need to see it on a tractor to see how it is set up. I waited my life for a 79 gt18.

why not just buy a mule drive..... I bet it would be much cheaper in the long run.

Because I have all kinds of steel and rod and pulleys here I worked in a fab shop for years, I can make the exact thing for free. I'd like to buy it but I'm laid off right now so I have to make what I can make . Maybe after I go back to work I will buy one but I'm 99% sure I can fab it and it will be the same. I kind of like that part also the challenge of figuring something out and making it yourself. If I didn't have the steel I would need at the house and would have to buy the steel yes it would be much cheaper to buy the mule

Thanks I found some I will have to post a picture of the front grille I made for a guy I made it by hand by laying fiberglass and painting it it looked exactly the same as the original you could not tell the difference going to have to make one for mine too

Gary where in PA you from. I have 3 extra mule drives. and you could take all the pics you want. Im not using them. Id just give it to you.
