Hi all,

Dewalt DXP23835 - 813187-LT
P/N # 60576
Pump # 10.0GA13

I thought I had time before winterizing this wonderful power-washer so I could get blast all the Lawn/Garden/Landscaping equipment down for Winter Hibernation. Alas, there were a few cold nights and I think water froze in the pump and now it's got a tiny leak between the pump gear housing and the Brass pump. It's enough that pressure is down about half to a third of what's normal.

I watch videos of changing out the pump piston O-Rings and Gaskets - but can't find any place to buy the kit for that pump.

I've also considering swapping out the entire pump to something with a little more pressure.

Can anyone help with either of my two plans of actions? Advice, guidance, place to find parts or even someone to talk to about doing this would be very helpful.

As always, thank you in advance for your help!

Regards,
Gregory

UPDATE: Took the pump apart, it's damaged beyond the point that new Gaskets or Seals will fix the problem.
I figured the hours I've gotten out of it, and according to several of the people I've spoken with regarding replacing the seals/gaskets, regardless of whether it was winterized or not, getting 7 years and well over 2000 hours is well beyond normal and not to bother a rebuild, just replace the pump.

After a few hours, pricing is all over the place, from over $1000 to just under $300.

I have bought from Pressure Washers Direct before and they are back with great service and pricing.

Hope that helps someone.

Have a great holiday everyone.

Gregory
