I don't know for sure but, it would seem to me, that the deck diameter for the 33" would be greater then the 28" so my SWAG would be no.

part number for 28" is 16983 the 33" is 16984 they are about 20 bucks if you cant find one i got a pile but ny is another country from ga aint it?

Yeah,the mulch covers are different,the regular outlet deflector is the same for 28"&33"7016983 list $44 sells for $32.32.I found the whole kit on e-bay,with Ninja blade for $20

Looked on Ebay and a bunch of others, cheapest I could find was $32.95. You got a deal for $20!

I jumped right on it,the whole kit 7016823 sells for $80 to$100,and includes the Ninja blade ,cover hardware and decals,there's supposed to be a mulching kit with a normal blade 7061049

I made one for a 30" snapper. Just a 1" angle with a piece of an old truck mud flap bolted to it. You'll have to cup the top flange of the angle to fit inside the chute.

A 28" is a different animal and won't be anywhere near as easy as a 26 or 30.
