i have an mtd garden tractor cica 1970,late 1960s it has a 16 hp brigss and
straton the clutch is out i would like to know were i could find parts,or a web site to do more search,its a fine running machine exeppt the clutch

the only numbers i can get off of it is (8a 8618) this is the sticker that is applied on the fire wall any help would be nice

Not much to go on. Can you post some pictures? That will be some help in identifying your machine.

If you just need a disc your best bet is to look into having one made, an industrial bearing and transmission supply shop should be able to find a blank plate to work with.
