Hi gang. I had been given a 1974 MTD Farm King 990. Someone had replaced the front tires and rims with ones off a golf cart. Needless to say that it makes turning an adventure, and not an enjoyable one. I had been looking, without any luck, for some original front spindles in order to return it back to original style tires. Does anyone have any advise or information that you could share with me?
(Give me 40 acres to turn this tractor around)
Thank

All I have are some new style spindles for a 1980 or newer. Your spindles had bearings instead of the plastic bushings.
Hopefully you can find some on Ebay or a member can help out.

How exactly did they convert the spindles?
