I've been in the market for a used tractor ... Been back and forth between pre-emmissions, and the new modern DPF system ...

I've decided I really want a tractor, loader, backhoe combo ... Slim picken's! A couple of 10+ year old JD and Kubota's within 500 miles, around $25k ...

The foreman at my truck terminal's maintenance shop has a 40-41 hp pre-emmissions LS, and loves it ... Told me I should consider LS ... One of his mechanic's also has a 25 hp LS, and also loved it ...

I called the local LS dealer he told me he was the first dealer in the state of Missouri to carry LS Tractors ... And has had very little emissions sensor problems, and the warranty covers it for the 1st two years, anything in oil, has six years covered ...

He has one in stock left that is last year's price, before the $600 price bump last month ...

$28,300 out the door, no sales tax because I have over 10 acres ... TLB ...

Anyone with the emissions models have problems with it? Have you had to use the warranty?

As a long distance truck driver, I'm quite familiar with, and drive an emissions semi-truck 150+k miles a year ...

I hate to be pressured into decisions but it seems like availability is getting to be an issue these days, and no telling what the prices will be on future shipments, but they won't be lower.
If you guys have good experience, next, think about what else, if anything, is available.
I recently had this on a disappearing UTV model. Took the leap as the last 2 left the local supplier. He doesn't know when stock will be replenished..
Yes, it is in part an availability problem, but also budget ...

Here is a new JD, yes it is a "premium" model ... 2022 JOHN DEERE 3039R For Sale in Millersburg, Ohio

And a used 6 year old Kubota ... 500 miles away ... 2016 KUBOTA L3901 For Sale in Versailles, Ohio for $2k more than the new LS ...
Just remembered that there was a Kubota model tractor that had major problems. I am not sure but I think Messicks had done a video on it, but I could be wrong. Not owning or looking at a Kubota, I didn't save or retain the model they were referring to, but the gist of it was to "avoid that model in the used market". Maybe someone more familiar with the Kubota line can elaborate.
A thread over at the orange tractor forum said ...
avoid anything B33 series...
The nearby Kubota dealer looks like he got a couple of new tractors in ... I've never seen more than six there at a time that I can recall ... There were just two lonely ones they since the fall, today I drive by and see this ...

I don't see how they can stay in business!

They may have more than one store, possibly under different names.
